Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Kicks Off Campaign in Ilocos Norte

On February 11, 2025, the Centennial Arena in Laoag City pulsed with energy as the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas launched its senatorial campaign with a high-impact proclamation rally, marking the first leg of its nationwide tour. President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led the event, rallying the “Solid North” behind the administration’s slate and calling for continued support of the Bagong Pilipinas movement.

The rally showcased the administration’s coalition—comprising Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas–CMD, NUP, NPC, and the Nacionalista Party—presenting a united vision for governance reforms, economic resilience, and national unity. The President emphasized the importance of choosing leaders who will “build on our momentum” and “protect the gains” of his administration.

The 12 senatoriables shared their platforms focused on infrastructure, education, and social welfare. Ilocano artists and youth groups celebrated regional heritage through music and dance. The crowd was alao treated to performances by Bugoy Drilon, Arci Munoz, Sheryn Regis, Rocksteddy, Plethora Band and Wacky Kiray. The I Love Tacloban band was present to sing the official aong of the Alyansa ng Bagong Pilipinas to the delight of the crowd. President Marcos Jr. also reaffirmed his trust in Ilocos Norte’s loyalty and called for a resounding victory for the Alyansa slate.
