The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas brought its campaign to the heart of the capital with a grand rally at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City on February 18, 2025, marking its fourth major proclamation event and its first in the National Capital Region (NCR). With over 12,000 attendees filling the venue, the rally underscored the coalition’s push to dominate one of the country’s most decisive electoral battlegrounds.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the rally, reaffirming his full support for the administration’s 12 senatorial candidates. “We started strong in Ilocos Norte, brought our message to Visayas and Mindanao, and now we are in the heart of the capital,” said Alyansa campaign manager and Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco.
The NCR, home to 13.48 million residents and 7.32 million registered voters, is seen as a critical stronghold for the upcoming May 2025 midterm elections.

Each candidate was introduced with a short speech and a symbolic hand-raising by the President. It featured performances that blended traditional Filipino artistry with modern flair, reflecting the coalition’s theme of continuity and innovation. The event emphasized Alyansa’s commitment to governance reforms, economic resilience, and inclusive development.
As with previous legs in Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, and Davao del Norte, the Manila rally was mounted by Post Ad Ventures, the events and media production company behind the Alyansa campaign’s seamless execution. Their team transformed the Cuneta Astrodome into a vibrant stage for political engagement and public celebration.
With the Manila rally marking a pivotal moment in the campaign, Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas is expected to intensify its nationwide efforts. The coalition aims to build on its momentum and secure a sweeping victory in the May 12 elections.
