The National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT) successfully mounted its 1st National Research Forum on Filipino Children’s Media Engagement, gathering educators, scholars, media practitioners, and child development advocates at the Communication Foundation for Asia on November 8, 2024.

The landmark forum spotlighted key findings and research insights into how Filipino children consume, interact with, and are shaped by various forms of media—a timely discourse in today's digitally driven landscape. The event provided a vital platform for exchanging ideas and recommendations to ensure child-friendly media content, foster safe digital habits, and inform policy directions for the nation’s media and education sectors.

Despite the intimate venue size, the event was executed seamlessly—underscoring the strong coordination and commitment behind the scenes. Special thanks go to Post Ad Ventures, whose expert handling of lights, sounds, stage design, as well as finding catering services, elevated the overall experience for participants and guests.

The forum served not only as a conversation starter but as a call to action for stakeholders to collaborate in cultivating an enriching and safe media environment for every Filipino child.
