AKAP Mall Tour Brings Financial Relief to SM Mall Workers

In a continued effort to address the financial strain caused by inflation, the AKAP (Ayuda Para sa Kapos ang Kita) Mall Tour extended its support to thousands of mall workers from SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, and SM Fairview over a three-day outreach held from November 10 to 12, 2024

The program, which offers ₱5,000 in cash assistance, specifically targets mall employees, tenants, and agency hires affected by rising living costs. Designed to provide immediate relief to low-income earners, the AKAP Mall Tour is part of a broader initiative to uplift workers in one of the country’s busiest sectors.

Thousands of eligible beneficiaries across the four malls received direct aid, with the tour gaining momentum for further rollout nationwide. With continued support and strong turnout, the AKAP initiative reflects a growing commitment to standing with workers on the frontlines of service and commerce.
