The PAFFF program extended its reach to Legazpi City, Albay, on November 6, 2024—delivering not just relief, but a renewed sense of direction to a province reeling from the aftermath of Tropical Storm Kristine. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., together with key agency officials, led the event that brought essential aid to 5,000 farmers and fisherfolk whose livelihoods were severely disrupted by the typhoon’s impact on coastal and rural communities.
A total of ₱50 million in financial assistance was released, with each beneficiary receiving ₱10,000 in direct cash aid to help them meet immediate needs and begin the road to recovery. But beyond the financial support, the PAFFF event in Albay spotlighted a more strategic and forward-looking approach—anchoring emergency aid in a broader vision for climate resilience.

Investments were pledged toward strengthening farming and fisheries infrastructure that could better withstand climate volatility. This included plans for rehabilitating irrigation systems, upgrading drainage and flood protection, and integrating early warning technologies that help communities better anticipate and respond to extreme weather events. Additionally, TESDA and the Department of Agriculture introduced programs for re-skilling and upskilling local farmers and fisherfolk, equipping them with practical knowledge on sustainable practices, agro-ecological methods, and disaster preparedness.
Partnerships with the DSWD and local government units ensured that support would extend beyond the day’s event. Coordinated follow-up efforts were mapped out to provide ongoing access to tools, training, and financial guidance—fostering not only recovery, but long-term empowerment.
Post Ad Ventures contributed through event management, creative direction, and production support—ensuring smooth execution and engaging experiences for attendees. In Albay, the spirit of bayanihan was on full display. The PAFFF rollout underscored a vital truth: rebuilding is not just about relief—it’s about readiness, adaptability, and standing taller than the storms of yesterday.
