In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Kristine, the people of Camarines Sur found a lifeline through the Presidential Assistance for Farmers, Fisherfolk, and Families (PAFFF) initiative. On November 6, 2024, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived in Pili to personally oversee the distribution of much-needed aid and demonstrate the administration’s commitment to communities hardest hit by the disaster.
A total of ₱50 million in financial assistance was disbursed to 5,000 affected farmers and fisherfolk, with each individual receiving ₱10,000 in cash to help stabilize their livelihoods and recover from lost harvests, damaged equipment, and disrupted supply chains. The event also served as a platform for rolling out complementary government support through agricultural insurance payouts, TESDA livelihood programs, and Department of Agriculture-led recovery services.

In his message, the President emphasized the need to not only address the immediate aftermath of calamities but also to future-proof the province’s agricultural and fisheries sectors. Key stakeholders highlighted ongoing efforts to introduce climate-smart techniques, diversify income streams, and strengthen inter-agency collaboration—ensuring that the storm’s devastation becomes a turning point for transformation, not a setback.
Post Ad Ventures collaborated with the local government to organize, execute, and manage the PAFFF Camarines Sur event, overseeing everything from planning to on-ground operations.
