Kaogma 2024: The Hottest Festival in the World!

The KAOGMA Festival 2024 blazed through Pili, Camarines Sur with unmatched energy, earning its title once again as “The Hottest Festival in the World.” Held from May 23 to May 28 at the Capitol Grounds in Pili, this week-long celebration brought together music, sports, culture, and community in a spectacular fusion of joy and passion.

The opening Night on May 23 set the tone with explosive performances from James Reid, Yassi Pressman, Flow G, and Skusta Clee. The “Kaogmahan” launch lit up the crowd with rhythm and flair, signaling that this year’s festival would be unforgettable.

Day 2 followed with a heady mix of adrenaline and artistry—highlighted by the Mud Race and 3x3 Basketball tournaments. The Sunset Party led into the Ms. Kaogma pageant, and the crowd roared to the sounds of KZ Tandingan, and Enrique Gil, among others.

Saturday’s lineup brought a rock-and-reel spectacle with bands like Cueshé, plus appearances from the Black Rider cast. Energies soared during the MMA bouts, Battle of the Bands, and the famously grueling Boy Kayod challenge.

Sunday, May 26, continued the musical feast with legends like APO Hiking Society and Gloc-9 sharing the stage with emerging favorites. As “Tour de Kaogma” cyclists rode through the landscape, festival-goers danced in “Dance Revolution” and took aim in the airsoft arena.

Monday’s Musicfest turned introspective yet vibrant, led by Rico Blanco, Al James, and This Band, while the Foundation Day Mass honored the roots of the community. “The Big V” served as a vibrant celebration of unity and identity.

Finally, Tuesday’s Worship Fest brought the week to a soul-stirring close—lifting hearts and voices in praise, gratitude, and shared faith. From secular celebration to spiritual reflection, the festival came full circle.
