On September 10, 2024, the people of Laoag City gathered once again to commemorate Marcos Day, a public holiday observed in Ilocos Norte in honor of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. The event brought together local officials, educators, cultural performers, and citizens in a heartfelt celebration of heritage, leadership, and regional pride.

Held at the Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, a concert was organized to honor the former president’s roots in Ilocos Norte and highlighted his enduring influence on the province. Artists who performed included Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez, Nina, Sheryn Regis, Joseph Marco, and more.

The first family joined the celebration and danced and sang the night away. Food was also distributed to the crowd who braved the rainshowers.

Marcos Day 2024 was not just a celebration—it was a reminder of the region’s role in shaping national history and the continued commitment of Ilocanos to honor their heritage while building a better future.

Post Ad Ventures ensured the venue was fully prepared and all arrangements were in place. They managed all aspects of the coordination and despite a brief rain, the lively atmosphere endured as everyone danced and celebrated into the night.
