On July 18, 2024, the PAFFF caravan rolled into Puerto Princesa, bringing a message of hope and renewed strength to over 5,000 farmers and fisherfolk whose livelihoods had been deeply impacted by the harsh effects of El Niño. Held at the Edward S. Hagedorn Coliseum, the event served as both a relief effort and a strategic investment in the future of Palawan’s local communities.

Beneficiaries each received ₱10,000 in direct financial assistance, designed to provide immediate support. But beyond monetary aid, the event delivered more lasting opportunities through the distribution of TESDA scholarships and livelihood starter toolkits tailored to equip individuals with practical, climate-resilient skills. These included training in sustainable agriculture, small-scale aquaculture, and alternative income-generating activities adapted to the realities of a changing climate.

In his keynote address, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. emphasized the urgency of building resilient and self-reliant communities, highlighting the need to bridge short-term assistance with long-term strategies for development. He stressed that true recovery comes not just from rebuilding, but from empowering people to adapt and thrive, even amid future environmental uncertainties.

Working hand in hand with local stakeholders, Post Ad Ventures helped turn plans into reality—ensuring that the people of Palawan received timely support and services exactly when they needed them most. This initiative is part of a broader, integrated qapproach to climate adaptation in the Philippines—one that prioritizes grassroots empowerment and sustainable livelihoods as a cornerstone of national resilience.
